Tool'N'Tackle came under the ownership of Gary Cooke in April, 2003. The business had been established in February 2002, when the owners changed their sales focus to Industrial Hydraulics & hoses. Gary identified a need by the mining, earthmoving and contracting industries, for a reliable supplier of industrial quality tools and equipment.
While still maintaining the retail fishing tackle side of the business, he has focused strongly on growing the tools & equipment side.
Prior to taking over Tool'N'Tackle, Gary had 28 years experience in the mining and power industries, before moving to external sales and then on to successfully managing and developing 3 mining supply related businesses.
We have a range of quality industrial tools and equipment, which include well known brands like Kincrome, Enerpac, TE Tools, HiKOKI, Milwaulkee, KC Tools, Momento impact tools, Norbar, Sidchrome and Stanley.
While Gary has a passion for fishing and still maintains this side of the business, the tools and industrial products are in greater demand as the mining activities throughout Queensland continue to grow.
Our focus is to successfully grow the business, while maintaining a close relationship with our customers.
